The Studio and overall recording concept….

I focus on capturing as much of a live vibe as possible and then going into the “studio” for overdubs, leads, final vocals, and all that stuff.  Each project presents its own challenges and needs but laying down the foundation is really the key to a professional quality recording.  Additionally, it sounds simple and obvious but being able to hear yourself and the other musicians as you perform is key to the overall synergy of the music.

A little more about me: Playing music all my life I had to be supported by a “day-time” job.  I have a degree in Information Technology - Computer Science and spent many many years developing, designing, and coding medical and dental software.  I am now leveraging my technical skill set into the digital recording industry and I am finding that is it a perfect fit.
